John Seelye

John Seelye is a senior yoga instructor with over 25 years of teaching experience who is well versed in the all levels of yoga practice, the healing arts of yoga therapeutics and support of the subtle energy bio fields through the use of Pranic Healing and Reiki.

John is a certified Anusara® Yoga instructor, a graduate of the Urban Zen Integrative Therapy program, Pranic Healing Level III, Reiki Level II and Yoga Therapy programs. His meditation practice dates back more than 25 years. A lifelong interest in human potential continues to fuel his journey.

He has been teaching private sessions, group classes, and leading retreats and teacher trainings in New York City and the Hamptons for over 25 years. He founded One Ocean Yoga 12 years ago, that today operates every summer in a tent-studio and indoors every winter on the grounds of Channing Daughters Winery. John teaches private sessions by appointment in the Hamptons and NYC and offers workshops in various studios in the northeastern US.

In addition to teaching yoga, John is on the Board of Directors of the  Anusara® School of Hatha Yoga as board President.  He is qualified as a Master Trainer for future Urban Zen Integrative Therapists. He also sponsors and produces yoga related events through One Ocean Yoga throughout the year, including concerts with Krishna Das, Wah, The Hanumen, David Stringer, and has sponsored benefits for Urban Zen and Bent on Learning, The Nature Conservancy.

Lois Nesbitt

Lois began practicing yoga as a teenager and resumed her studies as an adult. She has practiced Astanga yoga regularly for seven years, under Eddie Stern of the Patanjali Yoga Shala in New York and under K. Pattabhi Jois of Mysore, India. She is certified in Anusara Yoga by John Friend, as well as by Yoga Zone and Integral Yoga Institute. She teaches group classes in Manhattan September through June and in the Hamptons during the summer, as well as private lessons. More information and updates are posted on her website,

Vienna Wilson

Vienna began exploring nature and its rhythms as achild growing up by the Atlantic Ocean. Today, heryoga and Pilates classes are infused with theinspiration, fun and spiritual wonder she first foundplaying in the waves. She sees each class andbodywork session as an opportunity to expand freedomin the body and heart and reinforce the connectionto our highest intentions. Vienna graduated from the Swedish Institute of MassageTherapy and Allied Health Sciences. She received herPilates teaching certification with Kelly Kane at theKane School of Core Integration and yoga teachertraining with John Friend, founder of Anusara yoga. Vienna has advanced training in biomechanics,trigger point therapy, myofacial release andtherapeutic applications of yoga and calls upon each of these disciplines to meet the specificgoals of her clients. Vienna dedicated herself to a daily yoga practice in1998 and brings her experience of Anusara, vinyasaand Ashtanga yoga to her teaching. She credits thispractice with ushering in her career teaching yoga,Pilates and massage therapy from her previous work onWall St where she very much enjoyed the intellectualchallenge, but missed the heart-connection. Other jobsshe has enjoyed include instructing children’s yogaand rock climbing classes and kayak instruction foradults.
